Step 1

How to connect a silent disco set

In most cases, the headphones come in a wooden case.

Inside the case are the transmitters in black bags. See which transmitter you have.

TX-60RF

If you have a TX-60RF transmitter, power is not necessarily required. Turn the transmitter on by sliding the button on the side to On. Plug the supplied audio cable into the transmitter or turn on the bluetooth connection. Wondering how to do that? Read more here →

(Note: simultaneously pairing multiple TX-60RF transmitters via bluetooth can cause confusion because they have the same bluetooth connection name).

TX-50RF

If you have a TX-50RF transmitter, you connect it to the mains through the adapter.
Then plug your desired cable (tulip-tulip, tulip-jack or tulip-XLR) into the transmitter at the tulip input (red and white jack). Having an indoor party? Set the transmitter on the side to Low (less far but stronger range). Having an outdoor party? Also nice! But then put the transmitter on High (range up to 500m). Can't figure it out?

For each transmitter, select the broadcast channel (1, 2 or 3) of the music on your yet-to-be-connected device.

You can move on to the next transmitter! (if you hadn't already turned them all on out of enthusiasm).

Step 2

Connect your mobile, tablet, laptop or DJ equipment to the transmitter using the standard cables provided or the bluetooth connection (only with the TX-60RF transmitter).

A jack cable is included as standard, and the TX-50RF also comes with a tulip and XLR cable for DJ equipment.

Play music on your device -at a high volume- off!

Do you have an iPhone or a mobile with only a USB-C connection? No problem! We provide standard adapters so you can connect all devices.

Service is what we call it!

Step 3

Grab some headphones and put them on to with the on-off button.

On the side is a button to choose between channel 1, 2 or 3.

All channels also have their own color; Red, green and blue. The colors become visible on the ear cup so you can see who is listening to which channel while dancing.

On the other side of the headphones is a volume knob that can be used to turn the volume up and down.

It's that simple. You're all set for the party! Choose your favorite channel and get swinging!

User Manual Transmitters

We rent two different types of transmitters (transmitters) with our Silent Disco sets.

A transmitter to be connected to power, with a long range and ideal if you are going to work with DJ equipment, this one is called the TX-50RF.

Our other transmitter works with a battery and can be connected by bluetooth or a cable. Ideal if you use your mobile to play music. This transmitter is called the TX-60RF.

During the ordering process, we ask for a few things. It is not mandatory to fill it out, but with this information we can properly assess what we need to provide to you to make everything as easy as possible for you to connect!
